CHALLENGE Save the Children wanted a suite of apps that would provide up-to-the-minute information to consumers on their global media activity via text, photos and video. The app was to aid the communication of campaigns, humanitarian, news, case studies and maps along with the functionality to donate to the world's leading independent organisation for children. SOLUTION Red C built a native HTML5 iPhone, iPad, Android and Web App communicating individual stories with full text and images. The apps incorporated a GPS mapping feature as well as an interactive multimedia gallery with video and photo slideshows. RESULT The app instantly achieved high downloads and fantastic user reviews generating significant press coverage. Save the Children's global reach and donations are growing daily and the app was awarded a place as one of The Guardian's Top 30 Apps.
