ReVistor is a mobile app that allows its users to experience historical events where they actually occurred with the help of augmented reality. The main purpose of the application is to preserve the memory and increase public interest in the American Civil War and other historical events. But there is also a spin-off application that enables users to create their own 3D augmented scenes at the GPS locations of their choosing. Initially, we started our collaboration with the client from a proof of concept. We needed to understand whether it was possible to create an app that could facilitate the power of 3D augmented reality with the help of native iOS development tools. Having built both apps from scratch, we still continue working on this amazing project. New upgraded versions are coming soon. Feel free to review the applications on Apple AppStore following the links.
