We are looking for a high energy, articulate person to lead our partner management initiatives. This will involve introducing ContractIQ to vendors/customers, onboarding them, doing web research to identify partners for niche areas, validating credentials, doing reference conversations with customers and cross-selling / up-selling new services.

This is a high impact role suitable for those who like heavy interaction / consultative sales type of work. Experience: 1-3 years. Exceptional freshers can also apply.

Work Timings: Monday to Friday (2 PM to 12 AM) and alternate Saturdays

We are looking for highly entrepreneurial & articulate people to join our sales team. Your primary responsibility as a business developer would be to -

  1. Call both F500 and startup founders to introduce our platform as a great way to find world-class mobile development teams.

  2. Run email campaigns daily using email tools & track/follow responses.

  3. Maintain active relationship with top mobile development teams and introduce the right teams for a given customer opportunity.

  4. Co-ordinate the logistics of customer-vendor interactions and be a trusted adviser to the customer in picking the right team.

  5. Nurture conversations, convert casual buyer conversations to hot leads and manage the relationships.

Your role calls for significant innovation and an attitude to experiment & adapt. Like in any startup, we shall work long hours (because we like our work) and be willing to build a great company for all of us.

The role would require you to work partial US hours (2 PM IST to 12 AM IST)

Before we tell you what it is, let's get the 'what it is not?' part out of our way.

We are not hiring a minion that retweets what the world already knows. We are not staring at the content calendar wondering what to fill it in with. We are not looking for an English Major who can write business-like.

We are looking for a marketer who can tell stories in written and visual forms. If you are an English major and yet you consider yourself as a marketing wizard, don't hesitate to apply.

A few things we already do well:

  1. We create data rich reports that set the tone for conversation in our industry.

  2. We know how to get press attention for our content.

  3. We know the mechanics of staying on top of the mind of our audience across various digital media.

So why do we then need you?

Simply put, we need a 10x marketer, who can serve those aces. We've an idea of what works and what does not. We are looking for a prodigy (we can settle for a pro!) who can set up predictable process for our marketing efforts, get the hands dirty with content for at least a year and then build a team around.

You'll be responsible for our blog, social media and research initiatives. You'll be sprucing up our presence on Youtube and Slideshare. You'd be interviewing the best and the brightest in the software industry and moderating conversations between them. In short, think of this as your battleground for practising serious marketing chops.

We are always on the look out for fine product engineers that love taking a vague concept to well-defined/engineered features. While it's important to know what stack we are on, what we place more emphasis on is the clarity of your thought process, empathy for your user & inquisitiveness that makes you relate every module you build, to the big picture of why we exist.

We are built on Rails, MySQL and Apache. We are hosted on Digital Ocean.Our user interface is done with Bootstrap. Over the years we've been quite biased on getting a feature to the market than building it to last. We want a change agent. We want someone who would bring the discipline of automated tests, best practices of configuration management, deep level of expertise in design patterns. We need someone who can write *good, scalable & maintainable* code.

Our road map involves payments, search, writing crawlers and heavy integration into a host of third party services. If building an enterprise grade system where businesses actually live on and make money excites you, we have plenty to offer to you. Go ahead and apply!
